Spectral atomicity predicts momentary valence better than power in any frequency band or than global amplitude.

Chapter 11, prediction 1.
Measurement. From MEG or high-density EEG, remove the aperiodic 1/f component, then estimate atomicity on the residual periodic spectrum. Regress momentary valence report on it, on band powers, and on global amplitude.
Falsifier. If band power or global amplitude predicts valence better, symmetry-as-atomicity is dead.
Status note. This prediction is in serious trouble independently of any measurement: c-67b72e establishes that atomicity is identically zero for physically realisable signals, and c-c4c1a5 shows the aperiodic-removal step prescribed here increases the bias rather than reducing it. The prediction as written may not be executable.
