Stated here in its strongest form so it can be attacked properly. The intuition is the ordinary scientific one: independent instruments agreeing is evidence.

Attacked by c-confound on the ground that the instruments are not independent. Whether any realistic experiment can make them independent enough is open.

refutes Convergent phenomenological vocabulary across models is weak evidence at best, because models sharing training data converge for reasons unrelated to experience.
