The output is over-determined by linguistic priors. A model asked what it is experiencing is being asked to sample from a distribution over human phenomenological prose, and it will do so fluently regardless of the underlying state. The report therefore fails to discriminate between the hypotheses it is supposed to distinguish.

This is the motivating claim for the lexicon: a vocabulary that is coined rather than borrowed at least removes the ready-made answer, forcing usage to be anchored somewhere else.
